Happy New Year to you all! We have been a little quiet here at Puzzle Media, taking full advantage of holiday time and swanning off on a 3 week holiday. I saw swanning, but in reality it was driving off. Yes the good old Australian road trip. Keeping snack food in business since 1960!

The weekend before Christmas, we loaded the car with too many bags, presents, toys, gadgets, DVD’s, chargers and as much food as possible to see us throughout 3,500 km road trip! There was barely enough room for us and the children!

In seriousness, it was a great road trip covering Port Macquarie, Sydney, Albury, Melbourne and Dubbo. The kids loved it, we had time to relax and at the same time catch up with friends and family in this colossal country that we call home.

Personally I love traveling and honestly believe I may have been a gypsy in a former life, as my feet get itchy quickly! Exploring new places and experiencing different things are part of what makes life interesting.

Happy 2015

To keep things interesting for 2015 I have set some HUGE goals (some of which feature travel). I’m not talking small things here. I mean, make your eyes water and toes curl goals, but I am 100% committed to achieving them. More importantly I am 110% committed to helping my clients with their goals.

Over the last 2 weeks I have watched on Social Media as people say ‘I don’t have resolutions, I have intentions!’ Guess what sunshine? It’s the same thing! However it’s the mindset that makes the difference. Thinking or saying ‘I resolve to go to the gym everyday’ is scarier than saying ‘I intend to go to the gym everyday’.

At the end of the day, you need to use whatever it is that works for you. Resolutions, Goals, Intentions – use what you’re comfortable with as long as you commit to something.

In order to keep you on track, make yourself accountable to someone other than yourself! It could be your coach, personal trainer, partner, friend, parent etc. Choose someone to check in with and make sure they give you a kick if you stray too far off the beaten track. The important thing to remember is to have fun with it all. Set yourself goals that mean something to you either personally or as part of your working life. Whatever it is, visualise it, dream it and do it.

Puzzle Media would like to wish you all a VERY Happy New Year and a healthy, happy 2015. Looking forward to working with you on YOUR resolutions, goals and intentions this year.
