One out of every three Australian workers now conducts their business from home. This number has significantly risen, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics. In the past fifteen years, it has gone from twenty per cent of the Australian workforce to thirty per cent.
Working from home, also called telecommuting or teleworking, is a phenomenon that is sweeping the country by force. More companies are offering the option to their employees. Many of these employees are eager to take them up on their offer. They are ditching the traditional concept of suits and ties in favour of pyjamas in the comfort of their own home. This may sound like your idea of a perfect job, but working from home is not suited for every type of individual or career.
