Easiest Way To Promote Business With Facebook Marketing

I wrote a blog post a couple of years ago about the most cost effective way to promote your business (you can take a read here) and whilst Facebook Marketing was mentioned within the ‘Social Media’ section, it wasn’t singled out. Until now that is!

The truth is, in the past two years, when it comes to Facebook Marketing, a lot has changed. Let’s take a look how and why.

Facebook Marketing

Facebook is now the MOST visited website in the world. Crazy isn’t it! To think that they have over taken Google on this. But truth is we all love a Facebook surf to see what’s happening.

The way businesses are using Facebook has also changed. Where, two years ago your organic reach on your business page was still around 50-60%, it’s now not even 10% in most cases.

Is this because Facebook want you to spend money with them, well yes, but it’s not only that. If Facebook were to show you every single piece of fresh content that was posted on there, that would mean each time you went on to have a quick look, you’d be served with 1500- 3000 NEW bits of information every hour. These figures are based on the ‘average user’ having a certain number of friends, liking a certain number of pages, being a member of certain groups etc. Those figures are crazy, hence the algorithm change and why businesses are turning to Facebook for advertising.

Facebook Advertising

The above leads nicely into Facebook Advertising. If your business is NOT using Facebook Advertising, then you could be handing over your prospect base to your competitors. Most businesses are now advertising on Facebook and it’s as important, if not MORE than using Google Ads. Why? Because people are spending more time on Facebook.

It’s a given that the conversation is a different one to Google Ad Words. It’s not about whether you do one over the other, it’s about working out what works for you and your business when it comes to paid advertising.

Facebook Adverts have so many different ways of being used, but the method which we see working best for clients, and our own marketing is the following:

  • Introduce your business
  • Allow prospects to become familiar with you in their newsfeed
  • Offer value and expect NOTHING in return
  • Send prospects to your website
  • Capture an email address
  • Build a sales funnel that speaks to their needs
  • Retarget those who visited your website or are in your funnel with an offer
  • Close business
  • Repeat

It’s not difficult when you know how! We run Facebook Advert Campaigns for Small to Medium Business Owners Across Australia. To Book in for a free review of your current adverts please contact us here, email [email protected] or call 1300367334
